MSc Internship 
Application Assay Development and Optimization 

​​At The Protein Express, we produce functional proteins with applications ranging from  food, to fuel, to biomaterials. All based on our affordable, scalable, and sustainable fermentation technology.

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic intern to help develop and optimize assays to quantify and validate the performance of our products in their intended applications. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assay development, experimental design, and data analysis.

 

🔬  What you’ll work on:

- Techniques such as; high through put assays, HPLC-based analytics, small scale fermentations

- Developing new application assays and optimizing existing assays for accurate benchmarking of our products

- Document and share your results with the team

 

🧑‍🔬 Who we’re looking for:

- A MSc student in biotechnology, life sciences, or similar, seeking an internship or graduation project

- An analytical, solution-oriented mindset in the lab

- Genuine excitement to learn and grow inside an early-stage startup
